It’s easy to sign up – all you need to do is join our Facebook group  and set up your  Facebook fundraiser.  If you would prefer to use JustGiving you can create a JustGiving page instead.

If you’re not on Facebook, email us and we’ll register you for the challenge.

It is completely FREE to take part in Big Fun Craft! We ask that you try to raise as much money as you can throughout your challenge, and we will have tips on how to do this on our Facebook group!

The money you raise will enable us to provide essential end-of-life care to people throughout Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. North London Hospice is a registered charity, and  our care is free of charge to those who need us, but this doesn’t mean there isn’t a cost.

This year has been very challenging, and to continue providing the time needed to make this huge difference to many more people in 2024 we will need the public’s support more than ever. Our costs have risen to almost £16 million and even though we do receive a contribution from the NHS, we still need to raise £10million this year.

Without this support we simply wouldn’t be able to provide our services each year.

Absolutely! Cash donations should be paid into your own account, then you can make the equivalent donation to your online fundraising page. Alternatively, you can send us a cheque or make a donation on our donation page. Please state in the comment section that your donation is from your Big Fun Craft.

We recommend using Facebook as it means all your challenge information is in one place.

However, if you don’t have Facebook, then we recommend using JustGiving for online fundraising. Alternatively, you can collect donations and pay them in person by visiting our fundraising team at our Head Office

You are welcome to make whatever you like – the challenge is flexible! If you make any of the following items, you can donate them to the hospice at the end of February – hats, gloves and scarfs, cushion covers, blankets and cuddly toys are in demand. Alternatively, you can send to any of our 17 shops, to raise additional funds for our work. We will be sharing suggested patterns, including a crocheted and knitted cuddly toy you can follow in advance of February on the Facebook group. Happy Crafting!
