Our annual Light Up A Life event will take place on Sunday 24 November from 4.30pm (ceremony begins at 5:00pm). Refreshments, including mince pies, doughnuts and mulled wine will be available at the event.
Light Up A Life is a time to reflect on the cherished moments we shared and find strength by coming together to experience the compassion, companionship and community of the hospice with people who have had similar experiences of losing loved ones.
Let’s celebrate the lives of those we want to remember together. This year we will once again have a beautiful memorial tree outside North London Hospice in Finchley that will be lit up with a thousand lights, each one sponsored in celebration of someone special.
Our Light Up A Life ceremony is one of our main fundraising events of the year and raises thousands of pounds to fund end-of-life patient care and family support in our community.

Make a dedication
Dedicate a Light: We invite you to make a dedication to someone special and see their light shining brightly on our tree. You can also share a few words or a special memory to help keep their memory alive with one of our new decorative dedication cards.
New for 2024
Dedication Cards: We can add your message of remembrance for your loved one onto a dedication card, which will be decoratively displayed in a collection at the reception of North London Hospice’s Finchley site between 3-10 December.

Donations: All donations made in memory are special and help us to continue providing compassionate, caring, dignified and dedicated support to those who need us most.
Our care is free of charge, but it now costs over £16.3 million a year to fund our services. Whilst around a third of that amount comes from the NHS, we rely on public donations to make up the shortfall. Thank you for your kindness in helping us to provide this care.
