My Big Fun Walk Is Back For 2021

March 8, 2021

Big Fun Walk is North London Hospice’s biggest fundraiser of the year, but due to the pandemic, we are once again calling on our supporters to make the event their own in June 2021 and take part in My Big Fun Walk.

Whether you walk with family, friends or alone and walk in memory of a loved one or just to support your local hospice, you can benefit from our Early Bird Offer by signing up now, to take part over the weekend of 19 & 20 June and help us continue to fund palliative and end of life patient care in North London.

Covid-19continues to have a dramatic impact on North London Hospice’s ability to raise funds and provide our essential services to almost 3,000 patients in our community each year.

My Big Fun Walk gives you the opportunity to walk a route in your local community or, if restrictions allow, independently follow our traditional 8.5-mile route from East Finchley to Westminster through London’s parks.

“We were bowled over by the generosity of our supporters who took part in My Big Fun Walk 2020. More than 800 of you walked for us and raised over £85,000, which gave an enormous boost to our funds. We look forward to many of you taking part and supporting us again in 2021,” said Robin Langrishe, Fundraising Director at North London Hospice.

Many supporters walk in memory of loved ones we’ve cared for and My Big Fun Walk provides an opportunity to personalise routes, perhaps taking in favourite landmarks or views that were special to that person. This year’s walk takes in Father’s Day and provides a wonderful way to come together to remember relatives and friends.
