The Garden Suburb Theatre is a thriving and welcoming community-based theatre group in Hampstead which provides the local community with a programme of performances held in Upstairs at the Gatehouse in Highgate, plus one open air performance in the summer in Little Wood in the Suburb.

They have been a continued supporter of North London Hospice since 2018, and to date they have raised over ÂŁ2,000 for us through collections at various performances. We could not be more grateful.

From Feb 5-8 they will be performing Noel Coward's comic show Blithe Spirit.

Described by the theatre as a masterclass in sophisticated comedy, the play follows novelist Charles Condomine, whose dabbling in a séance summons the mischievous ghost of his first wife Elvira – with disastrous (and hilarious) consequences for his second marriage.

It's a sparkling, supernatural comedy of manners – where love, laughter, and a little ghostly chaos collide!
