High Five Challenge

King Alfred School Students Take on High Five Challenge

A big thank you goes to the Year 8 pupils at King Alfred School in Hampstead who took part in our High Five Challenge and raised a fantastic £920.54 for patient care.

The High Five Challenge encourages groups of students to think creatively and make the most of their own skills and talents to turn £5 into much more.

The children divided into teams and used their entrepreneurial skills and team work to come up with ways to increase their profits. It was great to see such creativity being used. One group organized a ‘KAS Has Got Talent’ contest for Lower School pupils, which was a huge hit.

NLH Community Fundraisers Ashra & Jo were delighted to visit King Alfred School to congratulate the pupils on their fantastic fundraising.

Lynne Sasson, Assistant Head of Yrs 8 & 9 at King Alfred School said: “Our YR8 students really rose to the occasion with the High Five challenge and we’re very proud of their achievements. It’s great to be able to support a wonderful local organisation like North London Hospice and vital that we teach our young people about the value of helping others through fundraising initiatives like this one.”
