Christmas Tree Recycling

Recycle your Christmas tree with us this festive season!

This winter, we’re excited to team up with Just Helping to bring a Christmas tree recycling service to selected postcodes in our area!

You can book your collection from Friday 15 November 2024 until midnight on Sunday 5 January 2025.

If you’re in one of the following postcodes – N11, N9, N13, N14, N21, EN1, or EN2 – we’ll be there to pick up your tree!

In exchange for a donation, our amazing volunteers will collect your tree – hassle free – on Wednesday 8th or Thursday 9th January 2025,  disposing of them in an environmentally friendly way.

How your donations will help the hospice

Arranging a collection

While we can’t guarantee an exact time, we’ll be in your area. And if we can’t find your tree outside or you forget to put it out, one of our volunteers will contact you to rearrange your collection.

More information about how you can book your collection will follow soon – watch this space!

Volunteer for our Christmas Tree Recycling Initiative

We are looking for volunteers to help collect Christmas trees, to be drivers, and to staff our drop-off sites at Broomfield Park, Firs Farm, and Trent Park. We also need support with other tasks, including distributing leaflets and posters in the community to help us spread awareness of our scheme, and handing out lunch to our hardworking team on the day.

Rachel Bloom, Community and Events Manager at North London Hospice, said: “We are delighted to launch our Christmas Tree Recycling Initiative this winter. It promises to be a fantastic day filled with community spirit. We couldn’t run projects like this without the incredible support of our volunteers. If you can spare even a couple of hours, we’d love to hear from you!”

Please email christmastreecollection@northlondonhospice.co.uk or call 020 8446 2288 if you are interested in helping us.
