Set up a room of remembrance
When you lose someone dear to you, it’s natural to want to honour their memory. Creating an online Room of Remembrance tribute gives you a private and lasting space to remember in a way that feels right to you.
It’s quick and easy to set-up a tribute page and you can include messages, thoughts, photos and video to celebrate and remember their life. Once your tribute is set-up it is always there and you can continue to remember and share together for many years to come. You can share your tribute with others and define who can visit it to keep it personal to you and those you choose to share it with.
Your tribute can also act as a personal fund in support of the hospice and you can invite others to donate to the hospice through your page and let people know about fundraising events you may be holding. Any donations to your page will be automatically sent to our charity.

What is a room of remembrance?
Your room of remembrance is a special way to remember a loved one who has died.
It is a web page where people can pay tribute to their loved one in any way they choose – from adding messages, thoughts, photos and video, to making a donation or fundraising for an event. Your fund will have its own unique web-link which you can share with others.
Is there a cost for creating a room of remembrance?
There is no cost to you for creating a room of remembrance. We work together with the MuchLoved Charitable Trust to offer this special service.
How do I set up a room of remembrance?
It’s easy to set up a room of remembrance, all you need is a valid email address. When setting up the room of remembrance, you enter the name of the person you are remembering, a photograph of them (optional) and a message to be displayed. Once the Fund is set-up there are a range of lovely ways to personalise your page.
How long will my room of remembrance last?
Your room of remembrance will remain online in remembrance of your loved one until you choose to close it.
Can I keep my room of remembrance private?
As the room of remembrance holder you decide the privacy settings. This includes choosing whether you would like to approve messages or content added by others, before it appears on the page.
How do I share my room of remembrance with others?
You can invite people to view your room of remembrance by sharing your unique link or by sending them an email through the ‘invite’ setting on your tribute fund page.
How are donations collected?
In a similar way to sites like JustGiving, donations raised through your page are collected by Muchloved.com and processed using Stripe. They are automatically transferred to our bank account on a regular basis. This means the whole donation process is handled for you and saves us time too.
