How do I apply?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Volunteers are an essential part of our charity and are truly valued. Volunteers help teams across the hospice to ensure our patients, and those who love and care for them are
supported, that our shops offer a high-quality and friendly service, and that our fundraising events are a success. We couldn’t do all we do without you.
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and ages, of any faith or none. If you have time you can spare to help us achieve our vision of the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone, we’d love to hear from you.
There are many ways you may help, with both regular and one-off opportunities to fit your availability, based in our buildings and in the local community. We don’t recruit for all the roles all the time and we develop new opportunities as needs arise. We may be able to develop a role especially to suit your specialist skills if they benefit our work. Download our guide to volunteering to find out more.

Taster sessions in our shops
Not sure just yet? You can register your interest in volunteering at one of our shops by signing up for a no-obligation taster session. A taster session gives you the opportunity to try out the different tasks involved, see the environment, and learn a bit more about how our shops work before you decide whether you’d like to volunteer for us. Pop into your local shop to speak to the shop manager and arrange a session or email us at retail@northlondonhospice.co.uk to arrange.
