Visiting policy
Current visiting policy (January 2026)
We offer 24 hours visiting for friends and family. Please note we do ask that no more than two/three visitors are in a patient’s room at any one time.
We have a guest room available that can be booked through the Unit Coordinator for visitors who wish to remain close by but need some space to rest. Please note that the use of this room is reviewed daily to ensure it is used fairly.
If you would like to visit the Inpatient Unit, please call 0800 368 7848 Option 2 to arrange an appointment so that we can show you around and answer any questions you may have.
We would kindly ask that you do not come to the hospice if you are feeling unwell, or If you have symptoms that suggest you may have a transmissible virus or infections such as an elevated temperature, cough, diarrhoea, or vomiting. Should you have any of these symptoms please do not visit until these have resolved.
If the patient you are visiting has an infection you may be required to wear additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves and aprons. If required, a member of staff will explain this to you.
