Learning with North London Hospice
We’re passionate about providing quality palliative and end-of-life care education, offering learning opportunities for clinicians and non-clinicians alike. Both accredited and non-accredited courses are available through our partnerships with Princess Alice Hospice, the University of Hertfordshire and others.
We provide our staff with a range of training opportunities including degree apprenticeships and diplomas covering different areas.

Courses for healthcare professionals
We are pleased to support nursing and residential care homes, both locally and further afield, with a variety of training and education courses in palliative and end-of-life care.
Tours and educational visits
We welcome visitors from the UK and beyond and open North London Hospice, to share our palliative care knowledge and expertise through private tours.
Work placements & experience
We work in partnership with Hertfordshire University to offer placements to nursing students.
ECEPC
We are proud to work alongside Princess Alice Hospice to facilitate the European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care (ECEPC) - a nine week course for healthcare professionals who have direct contact with end of life patients.
