There are 19 North London Hospice shops throughout Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. We look forward to welcoming you to shop or donate pre-loved goods soon. Your support helps fund our specialist end of life care, and helps the planet by reducing the amount that goes to landfill.

Donating Goods

We welcome donations of good quality preloved or unwanted goods, that can be delivered to any of our shops during opening hours. Items of particular interest include:

• Adult & children’s clothing, bags & shoes
• Jewellery
• Crockery and glassware
• Small electrical goods
• Records, DVDs & CDs
• Furniture (at our High Barnet & North Finchley furniture shops)

If you have any questions about donations you can email us: collections@northlondonhospice.co.uk – you can also email a photograph of the item you wish to donate if you’re unsure about its suitability.

Please do not leave your donations outside the shops when we are closed as we will be unable to sell them. Thank you.

Donating furniture - free collections

Do you have unwanted furniture that you'd like to give to charity? From tables and chairs to shelving units and small electrical items, as long as your items are in a saleable condition, your donation could help us to raise vital funds for the hospice. Book your free collection here.

Items we cannot accept in our shops

We will always try to sell items that have generously been donated to us. However, there are occasions when we cannot accept some items due to legal and health and safety reasons. We kindly ask that the following items are not donated to our shops:

• Chipped/cracked items such as mugs and other crockery
• Broken items including toys
• Children’s items such as highchairs

*Please note we can only accept soft furnishings that carry a fire retardant label.

Gift Aid

We can claim an additional 25% on the sale price of your items at no cost to you. Simply fill in our Gift Aid form here and pin it to your donation.

You can also sign up for Gift Aid and print out donation labels in store by using one of the Gift Aid tablets in our shops.
