A dedicated out-of-hours community telephone advice service
North London Hospice, in partnership with the North Central London Integrated Care Board (NCLICB), and the London Central & West Unscheduled Care Collaborative (LCW UCC), are pleased to provide the North Central London Palliative Advice Team (NCLPAT).
The North Central London Palliative Advice Team (NCLPAT) provides a single point of access for patients, carers, and community professionals to enable them to access telephone support and advice.

How does it work?
- The telephone service will operate out-of-hours, Monday-Sunday between 8pm and 8am.
- It provides telephone advice and support to patients and families who are known to our Community Palliative Care Services. The team can advise on symptom management as well as providing much needed emotional support.
- It provides Specialist Palliative Care advice and support for Healthcare professionals, i.e. London Ambulance Service, District Nurses, GPs etc.
Who provides the service?
The service is provided by North London Hospice staff will deliver the service daily between 8pm and 8am.
The service is delivered in partnership with the NCL Integrated Care Board (ICB), and the London Central & West Unscheduled Care Collaborative (LCW UCC).

Service users can call 020 8152 3252 between 8pm and 8am Monday to Sunday.
