Butterfly Reflections
Inspired by the continued success of our Forever In Our Hearts display, North London Hospice is proud to present Butterfly Reflections.
For a donation, you can order a handcrafted decorative stainless steel butterfly in memory of a loved one.
These unique, delicately crafted butterflies have been specially created for North London Hospice and are a precious way to honour and remember your loved ones. The beautiful kaleidoscope of butterflies, which feature detailed, iridescent wings, will be displayed in the peaceful gardens at West Lodge Park (Cockfosters Road, Hadley Wood, Enfield) in June 2026, after which they are yours to keep forever.
They can be personalised with a name or short message of your choice, inscribed on a heart-shaped adornment, connected to the stake.
The Butterfly Reflections garden will be a space of great sentiment and significance and we hope that visiting will bring you a moment of comfort and calm this summer, reminding us that our loved ones are always in our hearts.We have 500 butterflies available in readiness to be inscribed in commemoration of someone special and we’d love each one to be dedicated to someone special. Each dedication is a donation to support North London Hospice.
The suggested minimum donation for your butterfly is £49, equivalent to two hours of specialist nursing care at the hospice.

Thank you for making a difference and celebrating the lives of those who hold a special place in your heart.
North London Hospice staff will be on site to welcome you to the garden on Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June from 10am – 12.30pm. Staff will be available to show you the location of your dedication during these times only. There will also be a special sunset reflection evening on Thursday 11 June from 6.30 – 8.30pm. Please note that places are limited for this commemorative evening. You are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
The installation will remain in place until Saturday 13 June for all West Lodge Park visitors and guests to enjoy.
West Lodge Park restaurant and bar are open daily for breakfast, coffee, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. Booking is strongly advised. Please contact the hotel directly on 020 8216 3900.
After the display week is finished, you will be able to take your personalised steel butterfly home, creating a lasting symbol of love and cherished memories. The butterflies can be collected from West Lodge Park on Sunday 14 June between 10am and 12.30pm. After that date all butterflies will be kept safely at North London Hospice and we will contact you to arrange collection.
