About the exhibition

Location: Apthorp Gallery, artsdepot Level 2, 5 Nether Street, London N12 0EH

Parking: Nearest is the underground car park at Aldi, immediately below artsdepot (£1 coin only for 90 minutes)

Opening times: 15-20 July 9am–5pm daily (free entry) 

Step into The Healing Power of Nature, a captivating exhibition led by the beautiful expressive paintings of Mill Hill artist Yvonne Saville. Now living with motor neurone disease, Yvonne expresses through her paintbrush what she can no longer say in her speaking voice, capturing the strength and solace to be found in the natural world.

Yvonne’s paintings are shown alongside inspiring works, also on the theme of nature, kindly donated by other local artists, the majority of whom are current members of the Milldon and Finchley Art Societies. Encompassing land, water, sea and sky, trees and flowers, dark and light, and all four seasons, the collection evokes a sense of tranquility, connection and renewal. 

All proceeds from the exhibition will support the work of North London Hospice and the vital care we provide for patients and their families.

If you would like to purchase a painting, you can do so through the Box Office at artsdepot, on the ground floor near the main entrance. Collection or delivery at the end of the exhibition can also be arranged through the Box Office.
