Signed Arsenal owl sculpture auctioned to raise vital hospice funds

Arsenal fans have had plenty to celebrate lately, but things might just be about to get even better.

One of a kind Arsenal memorabilia signed by footballing stars including:

    • Bukayo Saka
    • Gabriel Jesus
    • Gabriel Martinelli
    • Jakub Kiwior
    • Leandro Trossard
    • Martin Odegaard

Highbury Hooter, the giant owl that’s been turning heads and causing a flutter across North London is back under the hammer, giving you the chance to score a little extra footballing joy while supporting a brilliant cause.

First unveiled during North London Hospice’s Big Fun Art Adventure in summer 2024, this claw-some creation perched proudly in Finsbury Park as part of an eight-week, free sculpture trail featuring over 50 spectacular owls.

After ruffling feathers across the borough, Highbury Hooter was snapped up by a lifelong Arsenal fan and hospice supporter, who has now generously returned it to auction to raise even more for the charity.

Fresh from a title-winning season, this one-of-a-kind piece celebrates Arsenal in all their glory. Designed by artist Stazzy, whose long-standing creative partnership with the club spans more than a decade, the owl takes its inspiration from the iconic red-and-white 24/25 home kit, complete with the classic cannon crest front and centre.

Signed by Arsenal stars including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Jakub Kiwior, Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard, it’s a proper top-of-the-perch collectable, owl-fully irresistible to fans of the beautiful game.

Standing a mighty 1.6 metres tall and weighing around 45kg, this hand-painted, fibreglass sculpture is built to last, with a protective varnish finish that means it can be displayed outdoors (though it may prefer a slightly sheltered spot). It’s a goal-den opportunity to net something truly special… and talon everyone about it.

It costs £16 million each year to run North London Hospice with only around a third of funding coming from the NHS. That means the hospice relies heavily on the kindness of the community. So, when you bid on Highbury Hooter, you’re not just taking home a wise investment, you’re helping make a difference that will echo far beyond the auction’s final whistle.

Let’s not leave Highbury Hooter on the bench. Opportunities like this don’t come around owl that often!
