Big Fun Walk 10 May. Early bird ticket prices are available until 15 February

On Sunday 10 May hundreds of walkers of all ages will gather for North London Hospice’s Big Fun Walk, an iconic ten-mile route through London filled with laughter, remembrance and purpose.

Big Fun Walk is North London Hospice’s flagship fundraising event, and one of their most loved by supporters. This year marks 30 years since the very first walk took place, when a group of enthusiastic participants made the journey from Finchley to Westminster on foot. To celebrate, the charity is offering special discounted ticket prices until 15 February.

To mark the 30th anniversary, the event has a meaningful theme this year - ‘Every Step Holds a Story’. Big Fun Walk offers a way to keep alive the memories and stories of those people we have loved, and this year, the hospice is inviting walkers to step into a world of imagination with participants encouraged to dress up for the occasion.

From beloved fairytale heroes to timeless adventurers, let your outfit reflect the tales that inspire you. Perhaps you’ll walk as Alice, Peter Pan, or Little Red Riding Hood, or simply add a whimsical accessory that speaks to your story.

Even if you choose not to dress up, every step holds a story and carries meaning as it helps give others the comfort of support, care and peace when they need it most by raising vital funds for the hospice. Take photos and videos and share your stories on social media, take the time to make memories.

From the leafy paths of Hampstead Heath to the stunning views from Primrose Hill and onto the historic heart of Westminster, each step of the Big Fun Walk echoes with stories of lives lived and love that lasts.

If ten miles feels too far, the much-loved Little Fun Walk will also return this year. Little Fun Walk is a five-mile route that finishes at the top of Primrose Hill, where you can pause, take in the view and feel part of something truly special.

Louise Cohen, Senior Events and Community Officer at North London Hospice said: “Join us for the 30th anniversary of our Big Fun Walk on 10 May. Along the way you can expect stunning views, inspiring company, and a finish line filled with music, celebration and moments that will stay with you.

“When you collect your medal, you’ll know you’ve done something that truly matters for yourself, for those whose stories you hold in your heart and for your community too.”
