North London Hospice publishes Quality Account 2025-26
North London Hospice has published its Quality Account 2025-26, an annual report which describes the quality of our clinical services. It focuses on three key areas: patient safety, the effectiveness of treatments, and patient feedback on the care provided. It aims to demonstrate to the public and stakeholders how the hospice is performing in these areas; outlining key safety statistics, patient experience stories and highlighting areas for improvement.
The report demonstrates that throughout the last year our Patient Services staff and volunteers, supported by the wider organisation in so many ways, continue to provide safe, effective, and person-centred end-of-life care.
Our Quality Account is endorsed by the Board of Trustees as a true and accurate reflection of the quality of care delivered by North London Hospice during 2025–2026 and was scrutinised externally by our local authority’s Health and Overview Scrutiny Committee.
Declan Carroll, Chief Executive of North London Hospice said: “I am pleased to present North London Hospice’s Quality Account for 2025–2026. This report reflects a year of sustained delivery, learning and improvement across our Clinical and Patient Services, during a period of significant change for the organisation.
“Throughout the year, our focus has remained on strengthening access, coordination and reliability, while continuing to provide safe, clinically effective and compassionate care. I would like to thank our staff and volunteers for their professionalism, compassion and resilience throughout a demanding time. I am also grateful to the Executive Team for their leadership and steadfast focus on quality, safety and experience and to our Trustees for their ongoing challenge and support.
“As we look ahead, I am confident in our continued ability to learn, improve and deliver high quality hospice care to the communities we serve.”
