Current Visiting Policy

This is our current visiting policy for the Inpatient Unit (last updated January 2024):

There are no restrictions to visiting hours on the Inpatient Unit and although there are no restrictions to the number of visitors a patient can have each day, we respectfully ask that no more than 2-3 visitors are in a patient’s room at any one time.

There is no longer a mandatory requirement for staff and patients to wear facemasks in the Inpatient Unit or Outpatients and Wellbeing Services building in Enfield, however, should visitors or staff make the personal decision to still wear face masks these will be available.

We ask that you do not come to the hospice if you are feeling unwell, even if you have tested negative for Covid -19 and are fully vaccinated. If you have symptoms that suggest you may have a transmissible virus or infections such as an elevated temperature, cough, diarrhoea, or vomiting, then please do not come to the hospice.
