Access our services

The First Contact Centre service comprises of a multi-disciplinary team and is the first point of access for all referrals to the North London Hospice.

Social care support

When someone is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everyone around them is affected, often in ways they don’t expect.

Spiritual & pastoral care

Whether a patient or a visitor, whether you identify with a particular faith or not, coming to the Hospice can be a time when matters of a spiritual nature are especially important.

User involvement & co-production

We want to hear what you think about us and our care. Your feedback helps us develop services how you want them to be.

Patient and carer surveys

We ask patients and carers to complete a survey, telling us what they think about our care.

Care in the Hospice

Inpatient Unit

We provide specialist 24 hour care at our Inpatient Unit at 47 Woodside Avenue (where our Head Office is located. Our aim is to help patients maintain their independence and dignity in a warm and supportive environment.

North London Hospice Enfield is the base for the Enfield Community Palliative Care Team and our Outpatient and Wellbeing Services. Please note that this is not where our Inpatient Unit is located.

Supporting you at home

We are a specialist team of healthcare professionals working in the community – nurses, doctors, social workers, physiotherapists and occupational therapists – who are employed by North London Hospice.

Community specialist palliative care service

Our aim is to help patients live life to the full, to treat people as individuals and respect their personal beliefs, lifestyle and culture.

Palliative Care Support Service

The Palliative Care Support Service (PCSS) is a team of nurses and healthcare assistants who provide hands-on nursing care at home for people at the end of their lives and for those who require short-term support to help them through a crisis.

Bereavement service

Grief is a natural reaction to bereavement and many people manage with the support of family and friends.

Celebration of Life Services

If someone close to you has died in our care, if we have contact details for you or someone in your family, you’ll be invited to a Celebration of Life service.
