Writing your will is one of the most important things you will ever do. It is the only way to be sure that your wishes are carried out and that your friends, family and loved ones are looked after in the way you want for them. But there is a way to create a better future for those you love and for your community, which is why many people now choose to leave a gift to charity in their will, also known as a ‘legacy’.

North London Hospice provides compassionate, dignified and specialist care to over 3,500 patients with a life limiting condition every year.

The care of approximately 1 in every 5 of those patients is paid for by gifts in wills.

Since 1984, we have been committed to being here for those in North London who need us at the end of life.

Every year that need has grown and we have been here providing expert care every step of the way.

In Barnet alone, the number of over 65s is predicted to double by 2040 which means that even more people will need our support.

Thanks to your help, we can be here for them when they need us.

Having an up-to-date, valid will is vital to ensure your wishes are carried out. We’ve partnered with expert will writers, Octopus Legacy, to make the process of making or updating your will straightforward and free of charge (usual price £90).
